Witnesses told the Inquirer that at 2:45 p.m., Accad, who was plying the Waltermart (Makati)-FTI route, turned left at the intersection of Chino Roces Avenue and Arnaiz Avenue near Waltermart mall and nearly sideswiped the man who was standing near the corner.

“He nearly got hit, that’s why he became angry,” a witness said.

The witness said the man pulled out a .22-cal. firearm and went over to Accad who had stopped nearby to wait for passengers. When confronted, the victim repeatedly apologized to the man who hit him on the head with his gun, causing a cut on the victim’s left eyebrow.
